I can't claim any credit for this quilt - it's merely a picture I saved for inspiration on my computer, which is where Sarah spotted it - it may well have been Calico Cat's or Nancy's but I honestly can't remember - so if it's yours my humble apologies for not giving credit where it's due
Atet was asking for instructions or a link - sadly I don't have either but it looks reasonably simple providing you keep track of what to stitch to what.
If anyone does have basic instructions of what size/ratio of sizes to cut the pieces and would be kind enough to share them I'd be very grateful.
Now to pin down the girl to a timetable of an hour a week to regularly stitch

Not mine (I WISH!) but I know Amy (Calico Cat) has done one and I think is working on another. If you check her archives for the last couple weeks I think you'll find the name of the book the pattern is in.
It's called the Zipper and you saw it at the Calico Cat. The instructions are in a book called
"The Modern Quilt". Amy definitely had the link on her blog cause I saw it and actually ordered the book from Amazon!! it's a great quilt.
Anne, I'm finally catching up after a long, long time away from the computer.
Just wanted to say, I don't think I'll ever be sick of your soft and faded blocks. They look so lovely. I'm glad to see that you're still working on them -- they're gorgeous.
I also love your table runner with the appliqued border of flowers -- absolutely charming. What will go in the middle?
Ummm...actually, I have the book for that quilt on my coffee table right now. It's in the Modern Quilt Workbook. I KNEW I liked the sound of it.
The book is wonderful by the way -- some great ideas.
(ok -- teach me to try and correct my own spelling. Sorry to have the deleted comment there)
Wow looks great. Colours work well together.
The pattern is in The Modern Quilt Workshop by Bill Kerr & Weeks Ringle. I did my first one without a pattern... I have since purchased the book & last night I finished my second Zipper top.
Hi there! I am trying to catch up on my blog reading and see that you have been busy since I last visited. So fun to see your progress on spencer's quilt. It is amazing! Your zipper quilt is very cute and i love your table runner! Now about that lemon curd--is it hard to make? My aunt here in Arizona, where I am visiting, is always looking for lemon recipes. They have a lemon tree and get tons of fruit. Take care!
How nice your daughter is a becoming quilter! Love her choice of colours.
Also that little Spencer is a lucky little boy to have that beautiful quilt.
