I have managed to do a bit of stitching this week but it's had to slot in amongst lots of other things - what's new there then I hear you say - most especially the Presentation Evening for Sarah's rugby team
As managers we were expected to give a speech so I was delegated to write and deliver it - that took up precious stitching time
Here's my girlie in the red top with one of her medals for representing her county and she received another for representing the region
And here are the beautiful flowers I received for the hard work put in this year - nice to be shown a little appreciation now and then.
Back onto hearts again
Karol-Ann asked if she could have one of the heart quilts for some dear friends who will be married at the end of the month
This is the one she selected - now completed and ready to post - should be with you in a few days Karol-Ann, hope you like it
Hope their day is lovely for them

Thank you very much Anne. I must say I feel really guilty that I didn't do it myself, but you do these heart quilt so beautifully!
Oh! Wow! Nice one, what a wonderful wedding gift, nice choice Karol Ann.
Beautiful work Anne, I love these little quilts.
How sweet! And clever- love the loops on the back. how come I never thought of that?
I love seeing those rugby gals all in their spring finery *s*
What a great idea to give a little heart quilt to start out new married couple.
The girls all look very pretty and feminine. I notice one of them has her wrist in a cast. Didn't you take a picture like this last year and someone had their arm in a cast then too? Girls live dangerous lives these days don't they?
Love this heart quilt! Congrats to you and Sarah for the rugby awards/thanks.
What a wonderful gift!! The girls look fabulous!! Have a blessed day!!
Smiles,
kari & kijsa
Very cute heart quilt!
And the girls are all lovely, it's amazing how fast they seem to grow up at that age.
Congratulations you!!
Love the Hearts quilt. Nice to be reading blogs again. Missed you.
Appreciation is always appreciated (!), and I'm sure the girls really are pleased with all you've done.
The heart quilt is, again, delightful. The wedding is just one day off from my own anniversary.
What an amazing wedding gift.....my you have some talent!
